It is with deep sadness that the club shares the news of the passing of Kevin Jones.
Jonesy was a pivotal driver in the success of rugby in Ontario for boys, girls, men and women. He was instrumental as a player, coach, board member, and advisor for the Markham Rugby Club, the Toronto Welsh, the Toronto Saracens, the Aurora Barbarians, the Toronto Rugby Union, and the Ontario Rugby Union.
The Toronto Saracens benefited from Kevin’s rugby knowledge and the legacies he helped to put in place. As good as a rugby man as there ever was. We will miss chatting rugby with him, we will miss his good sense of humor, and we will miss his baking!
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and the rugby community during this difficult time.
