Alumni

The Saracens have a long proud history since their founding in the early 1950’s. With over 70 years of playing rugby, there are over a thousand Saracen Alumni spread around the world.

Many Saracens Alumni continue to stay involved with the Club in Board positions and as spectators. The cheering of Alumni on the sidelines and the volunteer Alumni working behind the scenes keep the Saracens strong as a Club.

CRF TSAF – FUND STRUCTURE & PURPOSE

Established in April 2025, the Toronto Saracens Legacy Fund was created by a group of dedicated Saracens alumni to help sustain and grow the Club for future generations. With over 70 years of rugby history and more than 1,000 alumni around the world, the spirit of the Saracens continues to thrive.

The TSAF is proudly held and managed through the Canadian Rugby Foundation (CRF) — a national charitable organization dedicated to supporting rugby across Canada. Partnering with the CRF ensures that donations are securely administered and eligible for tax receipts, while also aligning our club with broader efforts to grow the sport and sustain its future across the country.

Together with the CRF, we’re creating long-term impact — supporting today’s players while investing in the next generation of Saracens. Many of our alumni stay actively involved with the Club — serving on the Board, volunteering, and cheering from the sidelines. The Toronto Saracens Alumni Fund strengthens this legacy by providing ongoing financial support to ensure the Club’s success.

Your donation helps support:

Club operating expenses: facilities, member services, competitions, and administration

Junior programs: player recruitment and development, coaching support, kits, equipment, and camp fees

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

We’re encouraging all Saracen alumni and supporters to consider donating $20 per month to help secure the future of the Club. Every donation helps us continue to provide opportunities for players, promote the game of rugby, and grow the Saracens community.
